The foundations of
this website were set up on 24th July 1998, when the first page
of the original site, a Father Ted Quotes Page, was published.
Initially the site grew on Geocities, where it began to encompass
various forms of entertainment in the areas of Television and
Music. Gradually the site grew, and when Geocities' service
wasn't up to scratch, the whole site was overhauled and
transferred to Freeserve, its current home, in November 1998.
Lots more information and a better organised infrastructure was
established, the framework of what you see today. The original
site remains untouched on Geocities, but is no longer updated.
Everything on this site is either sourced from the best of the
net or original. Where data has been borrowed, we have attempted
our best to seek permission. If you know of unauthorised material
on this site, please do not hesitate to contact us. The site is
updated and improved several times a week, and we welcome
comments and suggestions which might help us improve the site. We
also welcome sponsorship to help keep the site up and running and
