News from the BBC indicates that a brand new series starring Alan Partridge is due to be screened this Autumn, 2002. As the centrepiece of the BBC-2 schedule, it will be Alan's first series since 1997's 'I'm Alan Partridge,' which ran for 6 episodes. Rumour has it that Alan is sporting a mullet hair-do, and that there's a love interest in his life- viz a mail-order wife. Further details to follow when released.
